National Integration Camp concludes in Bhandari

Nehru Yuva Kendra, Wokha, has conducted National Integration Camp from February 26 to March 2 at Government Higher Secondary School, Bhandari, Wokha. 
152 participants from Chhatisgarh, West Bengal, Punjab including host State participated in the five-day camp.
ADC Bhandari, Orenthung Lotha, graced the closing function as guest of honour where he welcomed the participants and said it was a privilege to host the event in the remote part of Wokha district.
He asserted that NIC was a learning environment from each other culture and tradition. He appealed the youth to be responsible in providing space for growth and development.
He further appealed the youth to make proper use of the opportunities provided by the government for their advantage and be brand ambassadors for development with their talents, initiatives and take the country forward.
In the event, the best campers award was bagged by NYK, Malda (West Bengal) and best folk dance award was won by NYK, Raipur (Chhatisgarh). Highlights of programme included cultural extravaganza, seminars, Know India Quiz, visit to hydro project Doyang, visit to institutions, visit to Bhandari areas.
The main resource persons for the programme were  RFO, Punseni,  Johnny and  John Makhabo DYC, NYK, Wokha.
