Four-day training programme on managerial skill and development was held from March 23 to 26, with EEI (AAU) professor Dr. AK Bhattacharya and EEI (AAU) RA BL Khuhly as resource persons. The training was jointly organized by EEI (NER), AAU, Jorhat and State agricultural management and extension training institute Nagaland, Medziphema. At the programme, trainings on training need assessment, ice breaking, concept and features of management practices, conflict management of group sustainability, importance of motivation for performance accomplishment, skills and leadership competencies, skills need for team work, managerial skills for entrepreneurship development were imparted to the participants. Meanwhile, trainees were also taken for a field visit to Molvun village where they interacted with SHGs group. Later SAMETI director Nguzonyi Wetsah distributed certificated to all the trainees. Altogether 29 participants from various districts attended the training.
