Department of Land Resource, Wokha, had launched the Hatsoju watershed project in Wokha village for the villagers and the rubber farmers under Integrated Watershed Management Project (IWMP) on March 19.
Meanwhile, the Wokha Village Council and the Hatsoju Watershed Project Committee of Wokha village have thanked the district project officer, Wokha, Tepunol Yore, and his staff from Land Resource Department, Wokha, for officially facilitating and launching the Hatsoju watershed project.
The village council chairman, Yanasao Kikon, and the committee chairman, B Longtsu Tungoe have conveyed gratitude to the Director and officers of Land Resource Department for rendering valuable service and showing special concern to the villagers as well as the farmers. It hoped that more of such activities would be taken up in the near future. It has further assured cooperation and support towards the department in the coming days.
