Felicitations to successful HSLC/HSSLC students

WSSU: Western Sumi Students’ Union (WSSU) felicitated the successful students of HSLC and HSSLC examinations 2015 at Thilixu Baptist Church on May 17 with SDO (C) Dimapur, P. James Swu as the speaker.
Among the successful students were three toppers namely Akivikali Top 8 HSLC, Itoki Top 19 HSLC and Bolito Top 5 HSSLC.
During the programme, the speaker encouraged the students to remain level headed with their success and strive for bigger achievements. He said that the society was looking up to them and to respond accordingly. James told the students and other aspiring candidates for competitive exams and not to be impatient with God’s way.
The three toppers in their respective speeches thanked God for granting them success. They also attributed their success to parents, teachers and Churches for their constant prayer support. WSSU president Atoki Sumi in his welcome address expressed gratitude to the toppers and other successful candidates for bringing laurels to the union and the community.
Western Sumi Hoho, information and publicity secretary Bohoi exhorted the congregation while Aloke Yeptho, winner of “You Know You Got It, 2014” presented a special number. At the programme,  Thilixu Baptist Church Pastor Khetoshe Aye prayed for the successful students and their parents.
ABCYD: Aoyimkum Baptist Church Youth Department organised a thanksgiving and blessing service to bless and honour successful HSLC/HSSLC students.
Youth Director K. Senti said amongst the successful students, Imtijungla Walling secured the 11th position in HSLC examination, adding that it was the second consecutive year the Lord has blessed Aoyimkum youth department with toppers. At the programme, Dr. Sentitula (IFS) felicitated and exhorted the students, while M. Imtila Jamir (Retd) registrar co-operative societies, Nagaland delivered the gospel message.
 KSUT: Khiamniungan Students’ Union (KSUT) Tuensang organized a felicitation programme for the successful HSLC & HSSLC candidates at the treasurer residence at S.E Colony Tuensang.
At the programme, KSUT president Mudang Shiu congratulated the successful students and encouraged them to be more disciplined, sincere and hardworking to see more success in life. Khiamniungan Baptist Church Pastor Mono led the students in prayer. He also encouraged the students to be responsible and God fearing individuals.
Others who spoke included Y. P. Chillio, Former ENSF President, Shellem, Former KSUT President and Tainyu, Adviser, KMHTU.
RSU: Rongmei Students’ Union (RSU) Peren organized a felicitation for the successful students in HSLC and HSSLC examination 2015  on May 16 at Elohim Rongmei Baptist Church New Jalukie.
Speaking at the programme, RSU President Kanpatlung urged the students to take up the challenge to move ahead and fight against the odds and excuses hindering their way to higher learning.
Proprietor of L.M High School, Mhainamtsi, urged the students to take up the challenge of becoming exemplary individuals for their community’s younger generation.
Altogether, three top graded students were awarded with laurel certificate.
The students were Niamguang Ruangmei-St. Joseph HSS Chumukedima distinction in six subjects, Soihiam of GHSS Jalukie and Kasangailiu Kamei-St. Xavier HSS Jalukie both distinction in five subjects each.
PVHSS: Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School (PVHSS) Dimapur organized an introductory session for the freshers’ cum felicitation programme for toppers of HSLC and HSSLC on May 18, at its auditorium.
Emphasizing on discipline, PVHSS secretary Chinmayanadaji Maharaj illuminated on the various activities of BSS.   Rules and regulations of the school was highlighted by the school principal Monoj Bhattacharjee where he appealed to the parents and guardians to cooperate with the school authority. He further informed that classes for class-11 would commence from May 20.
