All Nagaland Inter-Departmental Field Staff Association Joint Forum (ANIDFSAJF) has requested all the heads of departments (HoDs) in all the districts to fix the revised pay of Work-Charged (W/C) and casual employees of their respective districts and submit the same to the respective departments at the earliest and in accordance with the decision of the government Vide Office Memorandum No. AR-3/GEN-201/2009 Dated Kohima, the 17th March 2015.
In a press release, ANIDFSAJF sessional secretary K Atovi Awomi said the request should be expedited as due to non payment of salaries many W/C and casual employees were finding it hard to run their families including schooling their children and health issues.
The joint forum also said that they had ascertained some cases of fresh appointments being made under the 67 % quota that was reserved solely for W/C and casual employees.
With regard to this, the forum has requested the concerned departments to revoke the appointment orders that came into effect on January 1, 2015 and the vacant posts be filled with the senior most W/C and casual employees as per the government memorandum dated March 17, 2015.
Further, the joint forum has appealed to all the executive engineers not to entertain the case of outsiders for service regularization without the knowledge of the department’s association as the forum was in the process of carrying out regularization drive of its members so that genuine employees would get justice.
