Nagaland Press Association (NPA) and the Morung Express have sent messages of condolence on the untimely demise of Vito Awomi, photo-journalist Nagaland Post.
NPA president K. Temjen Jamir expressed sadness at the untimely demise of late Vito Awomi a bona fide member of NPA and photo-journalist at Nagaland Post, in a tragic road accident on June 20.
He described late Vito as a sincere photo-journalist ever ready to carry out assigned duties. The death of late Vito was not only a loss to the newspaper he was attached with but also to the NPA, said Temjen. NPA conveyed condolences to the bereaved family and prayed to the Almighty to grant then solace and strength to bear the loss and also for rest to the departed soul.

As fellow members of the media fraternity in Nagaland, Morung Express also extended solidarity to Nagaland Post and expressed sympathies at the passing away of a friend and colleague and that its prayers and thoughts were with the newspaper at a difficult time.
