Well known Naga designers Theja Sekhose and Achunbo Zeliang showcased their creations during a fashion show held at hotel Acacia, Dimapur Saturday night. Their array of designs spoke in volumes as some very high profiled modellers and greatly potential fresh faces in the state presented the two designers’ wardrobes in the grand show.
Avid fashionistas and well wishers were seen at the show besides excited relatives and friends who had gathered to witness a much anticipated and indigenously made collections of two of the most promising native designers.
Venturing into a horizon which is steadily gaining momentum, Theja and Achunbo has yet again proven themselves as serious designers and taught their fellow generations the audacity to dream and not to just follow a path but leave behind a trail.
The two young and energetic designers had been phenomenal in the fashion industry in the state with both of them already being featured in some prominent shows besides holding their own shows in the state.
The modellers for the night were Paukizonne Meriam, Livikali Swu, Longrula Longkumer, Imnasen Jamir, Wenyi Medo, Vivika T Kiba, Watisenla Jamir, Arenla Imchen, Rongsenkala Walling, Aliza Ayemi, Mashun Wungleng, Imtichuba Jamir, Meren Tzudir and Minto Chophy. Songs were presented by Binthu and Alemtemshi while a dance was performed by Zeno.
