Legal aid clinic was inaugurated at Wapher village under Shamator sub-division Tuensang on August 11 by district and sessions judge Tuensang Khape Koza.
Panel lawyer district legal services authority (DLSA) Tuensang Yimtsusangla gave a brief presentation on the role and functions of the legal aid clinic and para legal volunteers, followed by interaction session with the audience.
The programme organised by the DLSA Tuensang was chaired by civil judge (junior division) Tuensang W.V.Patton. Welcome addressed was delivered by Wapher village council chairman K. Rachungkiy while district and sessions judge Tuensang Khape Koza delivered the keynote address. The pastor WBC pastor H. Akumlong pronounced the benediction.
Another legal aid clinic was also inaugurated at Sikiur ‘A’ village under Shamator sub-division, Tuensang district on the same day by civil judge (junior division) Tuensang by W.V.Patton, who also chaired the programme.
