
NVBDCP conducted two-day training on Vector Borne Disease for medical officers on August 11 and 12 at Directorate of Health and Family Welfare, Kohima.
The resource persons for the training were senior entomologist Atu Longkumer, pathologist SSH, Dimapur Dr. Temsu, epidemiologist NCD Dr. Sao Tunyi and M.D. Dimapur Dr. Ngupelo.

Topic for the workshop included principles of vector control with special reference to anti-larval measures, space spray, indoor residual spray and LLIN’ , pathogenesis, immunity and diagnosis of malaria, etc. A total of 35 medical officers from across the districts participated in the training.
