NBCC, ENPO tell Ravi to avoid past mistakes

ENPO and NBCC, among others also met with Interlocutor for Naga Peace Talks R.N.Ravi at de Oriental Grande Kohima Thursday where they exchanged views on the solution to the Naga political issue.
  NBCC delegation led by its general secretary Rev. Dr. Zelhou Keyho also met Ravi Thursday evening. He told Nagaland Post that NBCC informed the interlocutor that Nagas cannot handle multiple issues at same time.
Rev. Keyho said NBCC asserted, that  if social, religious issues and peace were  mixed, more problems would arise. He said NBCC appraised the interlocutor on giving serious consideration on the  issue. While acknowledging the sincere and honest efforts of the Interlocutor,   NBCC also reminded Ravi that the  mistake of the past should not be committed.
He said Church would stand for reconciliation, unity and peace as this had been its stand and could continue to remain so. Rev. Kehyo said Ravi gave a patient hearing and informed NBCC that the accord was only a framework and acknowledged that  Churches have a big role to play in the process.
Eastern Naga People Organization (ENPO)  secretary Hawang T Wangsha, told Nagaland Post that the organisation urged upon  R.N that , the contents of the framework should be made known to the Naga people before any agreement was finalised.
 He also revealed, that ENPO delegation shared views and suggestions with Ravi among which was the need to involve all other   Naga Political Groups so that mistake of the past was avoided.
