Three hundred and sixty patients availed the services provided during the free health meal-cum-disability at Niuland PHC on September 4.
12 laparoscopy ligations were also performed besides other health check-up. Free medicines were also distributed to patients during the health camp.
The health mela was organized by the department of health and family welfare under the aegis of National Health Mission (NHM) and disability camp was organized by district administration.
During the Mela, specialist doctors and health workers from various health programme such as national vector borne diseases control programme, national programme for control of blindness, national leprosy eradication programme, revised national TB control programme , national tobacco control programme, national programme for control of deafness, gyneacologist, medicine specialist , dentist, orthopedic and general medical officers’ and laboratories technicians examined the patients.
Family planning services such Sterilization was also performed.
