Office of the deputy commissioner (DC) Dimapur said it has taken note of instances of unabated drives for donations, raffles, calendar sales etc in the district and reports of undue misuse of its authority.
In view of the undue harassment on the public at large and the business community in particular owing to such activities, DC Dimapur Kesonyu Yhome, in an official order, has directed all organisations and institutions not to apply for such applications henceforth as the same would not be entertained.
Yhome also directed the public to strictly refrain from such donation drives/raffles etc in the run up to the ensuing festive season. DC cautioned that the order issued was for strict compliance.
