Career guidance seminar for students’ community was organised by Chang Students’ Union (CSU) Saksi NAP sector Tuensang on October 24, at the Chang Baptist Church Saksi.
PGT (Education) GTHSS Tuensang, O. Akum Chang and SDO (C) Tuensang, Manazir Jeelani IAS were the resource persons during the first and second sessions respectively.
In a release, CSU Saksi press and information secretary, M. Choba Chang said, during the first session, Akum spoke on academic studies, vocational courses and scholarship programmes which were very informative for the students. During the second session, Dr. Jeelani enlightened the students with his personal experiences in competitive exams and talked about central jobs in varied fields.
It also stated that women leader PBC 3rd NAP, Tonchinglemla and youth pastor CBL Saksi, Bendangla delivered the invocations for the first and second sessions respectively.
Meanwhile, CSU thanked both the speakers for their motivational words and sparing precious time for the students. It further acknowledged the support and contributions from advisor CSU B. Yongkong Chang, president nominee M. Toshi, treasurer H. Chingmak, CTS Saksi, Sangtam Students’ Union Saksi and the Khiamniungan Students’ Union Saksi towards organizing the event.
