Department of Health & Family Welfare (H&FW) Tuensang organised essay competition on ‘’Iodine Deficiency Disorders (IDD)’’ in five schools on October 29.
According to Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Tuensang Dr. T. Pangjung Sangtam, the competition was based on how Iodine was essential to life and its importance for health.
50 students participated in the competition. Winners were awarded with Rs.1000, Rs.700 and Rs.500 respectively.
