Two- day, training-cum-sensitization programme for stakeholders of legal services concluded November 14 at conference hall of Longkumer Kilem, Mokokchung. The program was initiated by Nagaland State Legal Services Authority (NSLSA) in collaboration with Mokokchung District Legal Services Authority (MDLSA).
The training was attended by civil society organizations including including Women NGOs- Watsu Mungdang, panel lawyers/para legal volunteers, special juvenile police unit, disability forum and law college students.
The training was based on the following topics: RTI, role of para legal volunteers, your rights if arrested, role and responsibilities of legal services lawyers, POCSO, Juvenile justice system, domestic violence and consumer rights.
