Dancing Star Nagaland Season 1 concludes

Dancing Star Nagaland organized by R-Gen Group and powered by Aircel concluded Saturday night with an extravagant grand finale at The Oasis, Notun Basti, Dimapur.
The stage was set right with a picturesque backdrop, blazing speakers and gleaming powerful lights.
Four dance groups and 14 solos set the stage ablaze as they took turns in presenting some of the most prominent dance genres in the market.
Treat after treat of pure agility and showmanship combined with little hidden messages in the contestants routines kept the packed crowd on its toes.
After a tough set of performance Hephzibah Naoroibam was adjudged as the winner in the individual category with Idaube Haikube Zeliang up close as the first runner-up while M. Aying Konyak and Thomas Basumatary tied up for the second runner-up spot. They all received cash prizes along with certificates.
In the group category Mx Flippers crew bagged the top slot followed by Funky Fresh Boys closing in as the first runners-up.
They all received certificates from Ajazz Academy of Performing Arts, Kolkata in addition to a one year free training at Ajazz Academy, Kolkatta.
Judges for the show included Raj Sunar, Bhushan Lama, Minkamlak (Jiji) while guest judge for the evening was finalist of DID season 4 Bicky Das.
Midway through the show special performances were made by Sarah M. Yepthomi and friends, Raj Gurung, Albert N. Hau (winner NOH season 9), Toshimoa Jamir, Rainbow Choir, Surholou Rio, Meno Kehie and Satish Tamang.
Hosts for the show were Sarah M. Yepthomi and Rampau H. Zeliang. Earlier invocation was done by Vikram Sunar, Mon, pastor.
The organizers also thanked media partners Nagaland Post, City Life, Printing Home, Kutz Hair and Beauty Salon, Fair Friends, Crescendo, Shiu Lights, West Police Station and IRB for security and all the well wishers for the grand success of the show.
