Parliamentary secretary for Municipal Affairs Tohanba along with secretary Municipal Affairs Maong Aier met Union Minister of State for Urban Development Babul Supriyo at New Delhi, Thursday.
In a press release, secretary municipal Affairs Maong Aier stated that during the meeting, the parliamentary secretary briefed Babul Supriyo about the proposal for making Kohima a “Smart City” and expressed hope that Kohima will be selected for the same.
The release also stated that the Union Minister of State also expressed willingness to visit Nagaland during the ensuing Hornbill Festival as a special guest.
