Deputy commissioner Peren, Peter Lichamo has directed all arms license holders of Peren district that the ministry of home affairs has launched National Database of Arms Licenses (NDAL)- an online web category of Arms License, that would be implemented shortly.
He said, data would be required to be fed online each time a license issued or renewed, and the system would generate a Unique Identification Number (UIN) for each license holder, which would be subsequently pasted on the license and in the office record.
He said that the target date for completion of the exercise has been extended to March 31, 2016.
Therefore, Arms License holders of the district registered by the DC office have been requested to follow the direction. DC warned that failing to comply with the directives, the office would not entertain any complains and queries after the last date and the license shall stand invalid as per the implementation of NDAL.
