Some recommendations were put forward after deliberation on various agendas at the “NSF senior citizen” conclave held at Hotel de Oriental Grand, Saturday.
On framework agreement, NSF upholding the principle stand of Naga political solution as “honourable and acceptable” solution, recommemded that sovereignty and Integrity as the core issue, every responsible citizen should not shy away from the current issue rather consider it as a common issue for amicable solution and Nagas should not confused oneself with what is India and what is Naga. Also recommenditing that Nagas should be realistic rather than self-sophistic/artificial, if the current framework agreement fails to include Sovereignty and Integration than it is not political rather it shall be considered as an economic solution.
The federation appreciated and also appealed the Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) to continuously carry forward the dreams and aspirations of the common people in bringing all the NPGs under one umbrella and the federation sincerely appealed all the NPG’s to come together for a common goal in the process of the framework agreement/ongoing talk to avoid mistakes as ‘mistake creates precedence.”
Further, the house recommended for construction of a new NSF office building.
On issue on illegal Indigenous certificate, the house resolved to appraise the state government to direct the concerned department/issuing authority that no indigenous certificate to be issued to any non-indigenous inhabitants, if any issuing authority is found, the concern officer/authority should be held solely responsible.
