One NNC/FGN (Non Accordist) identified as one Pongum Khiamniugan (25), “lieutenant and QM” army wing, Tuensang district/ Khiamniugan Region, surrendered with arms in the presence of DC Zunheboto, SDO (C) and 5 Assam Rifles at DC’s chamber Zunheboto on Monday. Pongum son of Sumo Khiamniugan surrendered with one 9mm pistol and two live rounds. He was accompanied by his mother and sister. Both the person and weapon, after completion of necessary documentations forwarded to safe custody of 5 AR. (Correspondent)
