
Financial Literacy Camp (FLC) supported under FIF managed by NABARD was conducted on November 23, at Mopungchuket village.
The camp was organized by Nagaland State Co-operative Bank (NSCB) in collaboration with care and support society in coordination with NABARD district office, Mokokchung.
The programme was chaired by care and support society, managing director Imchawati Kichu and welcome address was delivered by Mopungchuket village council Chairman, Nokchalemba Aier.
During the programme, FLC assistant branch manager and NSCB, Mokokchung incharge Temsulepden, discussed on various banking products available, benefits under, APY, PMSBY, PMJJBY, Saving Account, JLG and Credit Facilities.
He explained about FLC and encouraged the participants to understand their expenses, Plug non essential expenses and encouraged the participants to increase their savings and said saving account in a bank is the key to all other services. Altogether 83 participants attended the programme.
