Minister for National Highways, Nuklutoshi on Sunday released a book titled “Narendra Modi and Naga Peace Accord” written by Editor of North East Press Service Okenjeet Sandham at Hotel Japfu Kohima.
Releasing the book, Nuklutoshi said even if the protracted Naga political issue was resolved the problems in “our land” would continue if industries are not set up in the land.
He said at present Nagaland has more than 50 thousand educated unemployed and the number would keep increasing year after year if means of employment was not found.
Nuklutoshi called on the Nagas to be united in solving the complex issue for a permanent solution and reminded that unless Nagas are united there will be no solution. He also congratulated the author for coming out with a book on the Naga political issue despite the Naga political issue being a very complex subject. Kohima Press Club president Xavier Rutsa also spoke in the programme while the Okenjeet Sandham termed the day as a momentous occasion of his life saying that dream to write a book on the Naga political issue has been fulfilled.
Earlier, evangelist South East Asia Rev. Dr. L.Tsanso invoked God’s blessing while Xhaveo Koza proposed the vote of thanks. Journalist and writer Rita Krocha chaired the programme which was attended by media persons, well wishers and family members of the author.
