February 2,3 and 6 incidents condemned

ENSUD: Eastern Naga Students’ Union Dimapur (ENSUD) has vehemently condemned the brutal murders of late Alemba Sangtam and Naro on February 6. 
ENSUD president, Stephen Chang and speaker, Khomo P has appealed the law enforcing agencies, investigation team to expedite the case and book the perpetrators to be brought to justice. 
The union has also appealed the general public in Kiphire and Shamator to maintain peace and tranquillity in order to avoid untoward incidents as it will only create more hindrance to innocent public and the student community in particular those who are appearing exam. 
RVC:  Rurur Village council has condemned the killing of Alemba and his wife Naro on February 6. In a condemnation note, Rurur head GB, Chipong and RVC chairman, Joseph said such cowardly and senseless act was unacceptable in the Christian society. 
They have also condemned the inhuman act committed under the village jurisdiction saying it was an insult to the village councils and its citizens.  RVC has also conveyed condolence to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul. 
LCAGBU: Longkhim Chare Area GB’s Union (LCAGBU) has condemned the February 6 killing of Alemba Sangtam and his wife Narola. 
LCAGBU in a condemnation note from president, Chubanganshi has vehemently condemned the coldblooded murder which took place without any rhyme and reason and added that there was no place in this civilized society for anyone to commit such a barbaric act.
LCAGBU stated that the union has strongly resolved to stand through thick and thin supporting the ultimatum submitted to the government of Nagaland by the United Sangtam Likhum Pumji (USLP), United Sangtam Students’ Conference (USSC) and the Akehda Santamlaru Thsingmujang (AST). The union further urged the concerned authority to arrest the culprit(s) at the earliest so as to bring normalcy back to the environment. 
LCAGBU informed that it has also been resolved that any suspicious movement of any stranger within Longkhim and Chare jurisdiction would be dealt with “iron hand”. In such an event, any consequences shall be at his/ her own risk stated the union. 
The union also appealed the people of ENPO to condemn such act of brutality and bloodshed especially when the world was negotiating and yearning for peace and harmony.
Further, LCAGBU has also conveyed condolence to the bereaved families and prayed that the departed souls rest in peace.
TSU: Tikhir Students’ Union has strongly condemned the inhuman act committed on February 6. 
A condemnation note by TSU president, S. Longkamse and general secretary, Temong Y. Tikhir stated that the union challenge every individual and society to condemn this innocent killing saying this should not happen in “our” Naga society.
TSU also urged upon the government, NGOs and state security to initiate the arrest of the perpetrators/killers and award befitting punishment within no time. TSU has also expressed condolence to the bereaved family members of the departed souls. 
SVSU: Seyochung village students’ union (SVSU) has strongly condemned the coldblooded murder of a couple on February 6, and called the Nagas from various NGOs, churches and societies to join in condemning the inhuman act. The union also extended support to the decision taken by the three apex organizations and urged the government to fulfilled the six point charter demand at the earliest.
CMO, staff Kiphire: Chief medical officer (CMO) and staff of medical department, Kiphire have condemned the killing of T. Narola and her husband, Alemba Sangtam on February 6.  It said Narola dedicated her life for the welfare of the community and served as an ANM Singrep SC for over 12 years. CMO said the department mourn their death as a great loss to the society and humanitarian service.
The department has also conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members and assured all help with her service matters and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
WRSUN: Western Rengma Students’ Union of Nagaland (WRSUN) has strongly condemned the heinous act of the law keepers (RPF) in misusing the faithful authority vested upon them and harassing / harming innocent citizens. 
In a condemnation note, WRSUN president, Aga Rengma stated that it was astonishing fact that “our” fellow brother was beaten to coma while on his way out after having a fair compromising talk in the RPF office with the personnel. 
WRSUN also stated about the indifferent attitude of the concerned authorities in letting go of the culprit on bail after arresting him based on such serious case of FIR raises doubts about their integrity. 
WRSUN stated that it will stand by the victim and his family in fighting for justice along with the other organizations who have already submitted memorandums to concerned authorities. 
The union demanded that the culprit be booked and punished keeping in mind the degree of seriousness of the crime he had committed which is none the less an attempt to life. WRSUN also demanded the RPF authorities to provide all kinds of assistance to the victim who is in coma under Intensive Care at the Guwahati Rahman Hospital ensuring the best medical treatment along with compensation.
GBUD: GBs Union Dimapur (GBUD) has condemned the murder of Charlie Hangsing son of Paolal Hangsing IAS (Retd) by unidentified miscreants on February 2 at Burma camp, Dimapur and the rape of differently able minor girl by Isaac Semy on January 30. 
In a condemnation note, GBUD chairman, M. Y. Ngullie has appealed the law enforcement agency to arrest the culprit and give capital punishment for their cruel and beastly act so that future generation would not commit the same mistake.
