
Unity College Dimapur organized an industrial motivation campaign and “industrial exposure trip” on two separate occasions.
Motivational campaign was organized Career counselling cell (CCC) of the college on February 18, with assistant director MSEM, government of India, Govind Raj as resource person. While explaining in detail, the steps needed to start an enterprise, Govind also presented a presentation on how students could start their own enterprises after graduation. He also spoke at length about motivating the employees, since they are the main force behind the success of any enterprise.
On February 17, department of commerce, Unity College, organised an “industrial exposure trip” to Cement Corporation of India (CCI) Bokajan, Assam.
40 Students of B.Com VI semester, accompanied by faculty members HoD (Commerce), Dr. Tabassum Khan and assistant professor Vandana Ladha visited the plant. Students and teachers were taken around the cement factory and explained the processes by production executive, CCI, Rahman. Apart from the technical and other details, Rahman also motivated the students to engage in co-curricular activities in order to develop their personality.
