A major fire was averted in Super Market area, Dimapur, Saturday when some kids called on the neighbours who helped in dousing the fire. The fire, supposedly sparked off by a television connection, destroyed the belongings of the residing family but timely intervention by neighbours and people helped in controlling the fire. The tenants were reportedly not at home when the fire broke out.
