Affirming that education of children should not be compromised in any manner, the Central Nagaland Students’ Association (CNSA) Sunday has decided to abide by the decision of the Ao Senden and Ao Students’ Conference (AKM), which had rejected the March 22, 2016 advertisement and called for fresh application on RMSA language teacher recruitment.
In this regard, CNSA president, Charles Lotha and general secretary, Yimlanger Jamir in a press statement, appealed to the state government to fulfill the demands of the two Ao apex bodies at the earliest.
While expressing concern on the imbroglio between the Ao apex organizations – Ao Senden and AKM – and School Education department on the implementation of the Rashtriya Madhyamik Siksha Abhijan (RMSA) in the state especially on the recruitment of language teachers, the CNSA demanded that RMSA be implemented in toto in Nagaland. CNSA further demanded that RMSA language teacher recruitment issue be resolved at the earliest, failing which it would be compelled to take its own course of action. CNSA said that the issue was an act of incompetence by the responsible authority in putting the education of thousands of students at stake.
