Street play by CAN Dimapur under the aegis of the district health society at Doyapur on adolescent wealth was performed on March 30 around the vicinity of St. George school and Gamadi Vidhya bharati school at Dhansiripar.
The aim of the play was to create awareness on ARSH and also to urge the adolescents to avail services provided at youth friendly clinic attached to District Hospital and ARSH Clinic at Dhansiripar CHC which was set up especially to address any issues related to the adolescence.
Jenpu, CAN Youth also shared his experiences with the students and also emphasized the importance of leading a healthy life for a brighter future.
After the play, verbal feedbacks were taken from selected audience to assess the learning outcome of the message, and on the importance of leading a healthy life style and choosing responsible friends.
The play was set against the life of a student studying away from home, and focused on the ill effects of early /teen’s pregnancy and on young adolescent health in general.
