Yollow inaugurates ‘yalam wangheang’

Yalam Wangheang (Morung) at Tanhai village was formally inaugurated by parliamentary secretary CAWD, Y. M. Yollow as chief guest on Wednesday. 
Yollow in his speech encouraged the people of Tanhai village to take advantage of the good geographical location which included good road connectivity, availability of water supply and good electricity.
He also laid emphasis upon making good use of developmental activities of the government. 
Strongly discouraging the evils of society such as alcoholism and drug abuse especially among the youth, he advocated towards transforming oneself since no other external factors could change one’s evil practice.
The programme was chaired by teacher of GMS Tanhai, H. Leiwang, invocation prayer by home evangelist, Tanhai Baptist Church, L. Thanglong, welcome address was delivered by Morung Angh, M. Thohpong,  cultural songs by various groups and short speeches were delivered by joint secretary, Irrigation and Flood Control, Y. Nyangpong and invitees from other Morungs while gifts were presented by Angh Tanhai village, K. Bonwang. The programme concluded with a prayer by pastor Tanhai Baptist Church, P. Wangpong which was followed by morung feast.
