All Nagaland Aggrieved Hindi Teachers Association (ANAHTA) has demanded the release of not only two-month salary but all their pending salary upto March 2016.
In a press release, ANAHTA convenor Vikeyi V. Achumi stated that while the Financial Year 2015-2016 for the centre and the state has ended, they were yet to receive salary from December 2015.
ANAHTA urged the state government to send the utilisation certificate (UC) and sanction proposal to Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) in order to get the next sanction on time.
It stated that that unlike other central sponsored scheme (CSS), theirs was “purely” central sponsored scheme, wherein state government did not need to pay any percentage.
Pointing out that the only thing for the government to do was to send sanction proposal on time along with the UC, the aggrieved teachers have therefore appealed to the director of school education, secretary finance and parliamentary secretary of school education to address the matter.
