DIMAPUR: Poilwa Lui Nkwa (PLN) has vehemently condemned the physical assault of a BRO officer BT-11 and his handyman on April 18 at Herakwa, Poilwa village by one Chikoppe son of Heichuleung of Benreu. In a press release, Poilwa Lui Nkwa stated that besides damaging the vehicle, the officials were beaten and threatened with a knife. While condemning the assault, PLN cautioned that it would not tolerate such behavior. Further, Poilwa Lui Nkwa requested the law and order enforcement agency to take action against the culprit at the earliest failing which, PLN warned it would be compelled to take its “own course of action” for which the authority would be held responsible.
