Western Angami Youth Organisation (WAYO) has reaffirmed to work for the welfare of the society while upholding its Constitution.
WAYO new president Neidilhoutuo Sechü while speaking at the induction programme of the new office bearers for the tenure 2016-2019 on April 30 at Satuo Kikramia Ki, Sechüma village also sought the cooperation from its unit.
He also lauded the pioneers and former leaders of WAYO for their efforts and sacrifices rendered to the Western Angami people and youth in particular.
Outgoing president, Zakiekhotuo Khawakhrie welcomed the new team, while he thanked his colleagues for rendering their best during their tenure.
Earlier, the programme was also attended by executive members of all the respective units under the WAYO. Newly elected team of WAYO comprises Neidilhoutuo Neibu Sechü as president, Neizhasielie Terhüja as general secretary along with ten other members.
Two posts for women coordinator were yet to be filled which, Western Angami Youth Organisation informed, would be done at the earliest.
