Considering the loss/damages to properties caused by the recent storm in Mokokchung district, Mokokchung Chamber of Commerce and Industries (MCCI) in a meeting on May 3 with its members dealing in hardware and electrical goods, decided to sell goods at a discounted rate to the affected families. In a press note, MCCI general secretary Limalenden Longkumer has said that the its president, Tsükti Longkumer has informed all genuine affected individuals to avail the special offer by producing a note issued by their respective village/area chairman or GB to MCCI or contact MCCI president at 9436006062.
Meanwhile, MCCI and Mokokchung Entrepreneurs Consortium (MEC) handed over Rs. 50000 each through DC Mokokchung, Sushil Kr. Patel towards the District Relief Committee, formed by the district administration to look into relief and rehabilitation.
DC expressed gratitude to the organizations for their contribution and hoped that more organizations and individuals would come forward. He also informed that the Officers Club Mokokchung donated Rs.50000.
