District AIDS Prevention and Control Unit (DAPCU) Dimapur in collaboration with Chief Medical Officer Dr. Vikato Kinimi and National Vector Borne Disease Control Programme (NVBDCP) Office, Dimapur distributed the Long Lasting Insecticidal Nets (LLIN) to People Living with HIV/AIDS (PLHIVs) of Dimapur on May 9.
CMO Dimapur, Dr. Vikato Kinimi while distributing the LLIN encouraged the PLHIVs on positive living, positive prevention and to regularly adhere to the ART medication & treatment and stated that the medical department do have serious concern for the PLHIVs community and was always ready to help and support the PLHIVs community in best possible means.
The distribution of LLIN was done by DAPCU team as per the DAPCU Led Single Window Model where DAPCU act as a single window in availing the information on various social entitlements and social protection schemes for people living with HIV/AIDS.
