The Nation’s most coveted fashion event, Lakmé Fashion Week, is coming to Guwahati for its first ever model hunt in the Northeast. The event is being jointly organized by Lakmé and IMG Reliance Pvt Ltd.
Lakmé Fashion Week has provided as a launch pad for several successful faces of the industry such as Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif as well as internationally acclaimed models like Pooja Mor and Bhumika Arora, who have scorched the runways of New York Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week.
The auditions will be held in association with Northeast India Fashion &Design Council (FNDC) on Monday July 4th at 1.00pm Terra Mayaa Lounge, Guwahati.
The auditions will be judged by high-profile national fashion influencers, along with Sonalika Sahay and popular Assamese actresses, Nishita Goswami and Barsha Rani Bishaya. The results will be announced on the same day and the winning models will get a contract to walk the runway at the prestigious Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2016 which is scheduled to take place on August 24-28 in Mumbai.
