District co-ordination meeting for Tuensang was held on July 5 at DC conference hall, Tuensang.
According to DIPR report, the meeting was attended by ADC & ERO Tuensang, T. Nchumbemo Odyou, SDOs (C) of Tuensang and Noklak, AEO Tuensang, political parties, NGOs and civil societies. The meeting was chaired by assistant election officer Tuensang, Alila.
The meeting discussed on shifting of some polling stations at 56A/C and discussed for the recommendation for the shifting of the same. The house also discussed on the proposal of establishment of new polling stations on the newly recognized villages at Thonok constituency but was put on abeyance basing on the spot verification report.
The gathering was also instructed on the purification of the anomalies in the voter identity viz. underaged voters, photo and names unmatched, repeated photo entries etc.
