
Organizations and individuals from various parts of the state and outside have condole the demise of NSCN/GPRN chairman late Isak Chishi Swu who passed away on June 28 at New Delhi.
LH: Lotha Hoho, Wokha on behalf of the Lotha community in a condolence message has expressed deep sorrow at the demise of late Isak Chishi Swu. Lotha Hoho stated that it would be difficult for the Naga people to find his successor and that the Naga people would cherish his able leadership for the Nagas, in their struggle for sovereignty. Lotha Hoho also extended condolence to the members of the bereaved family and the NSCN (I-M) government. The Hoho has also prayed to the almighty God to grant the departed soul rest in peace.
ENWO: Eastern Nagaland Women Organisation (ENWO) has mourned at the demise of the great Naga leader late Isak Chishi Swu.
ENWO in a condolence message stated that the selfless sacrifices contributed by the departed leader for the cause of the Nagas would not go in vain but will bear fruit. Without a doubt the legacy that he has left behind will be a mark on which the posterity will tread upon, stated the message. ENWO has saluted the departed leader while conveying its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family member.
TUD: Tangkhul Union Dimapur (TUD) in a condolence message stated that late Swu was not only a person who gave his all for Naga people and fought for the rights of his people but also a missionary as he trod along the path as a freedom fighter.
TUD stated that he was always the strength of the downtrodden people and on his dead; “we” have lost a great hero whom Naga people cannot forget. TUD share the grief of the bereaved family members and pray that God would grant the departed soul rest in peace.
TVCU: Tuensang Village Citizen Union (TVCU) in a condolence message stated that late Swu was indeed a God fearing, humble and patriotic leader who had spend his entire life fighting for Naga cause.
TVCU said that, Nagas have lost a man of dedication, humanity and selflessness and his relentless serve to the nation shall never be forgotten. The union further prayed the almighty to grant comfort and solace to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul of the great leader to rest in eternal peace.
RPO: Razeba Public organization (RPO) has expressed deep sorrow at the demise of Isak Chishi Swu. In condolence message RPO expressed regret that “our” Nagas have lost a great leader which would be difficult to fill the vacuum created by patriot leader demise. RPO has conveyed heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed that departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
