Yorübami Welfare Organisation Kohima (YWOK) has condemned the July 2 incident that appeared in some local dailies under the caption ‘TYO expels; Cautions’ where one Khone Lohe of Yorüba village was nabbed by Tsütuonuomia Youth Organisation of Kohima village on charges of theft. In a press note, YWOK in its “strongest term” condemned the act of robbery committed by Khone Lohe. The press note further informed that following the reported crime, the YWOK in a meeting resolved to expel Khone Lohe from Kohima with immediate effect vide YWOK standing resolution No. IV. Meanwhile, YWOK also expressed its regret for tarnishing the image of Yorübami in particular and the Chakhesang community at large.
