Miscreant opens fire at beauty parlour

An unidentified miscreant on Friday opened fire at beauty parlour located at Marwaripatti, Jain temple road in Dimapur at around 11:30 a.m., in connection with non-payment of tax, police said. 
Police sources told Nagaland Post that the unidentified gunmen who arrived in a “passenger auto”, fired at the parlour and fled from the scene. 
The bullet passed through the glass door of the parlour, police said, adding no one was injured. There was only one staff inside the parlour when the incident took place. Police also recovered an empty shell of a 7.65 calibre from the site.
Police, quoting the owner, said that on Thursday at around 6:30 p.m., four unidentified persons came to the parlour with their faces covered and demanded Rs. 30000. 
The matter was not reported to the police and as result of non-payment, the firing took place, police sources said.
No further details were divulged by the police stating that investigation was on.
