Sümi ‘ordained minister’s meet’ enters day two

Day two of the ongoing SBAK-NM ordained ministers’ meet witnessed four hour-long fasting prayer and devotion in the 1st morning session, here in Asukhuto village BC Zunheboto district, Saturday.
The second evening session was held with the theme, “Ni eno ni qo aho (we and our community/society)” and the evening speaker pastor SBC-B Mokukchung town, Rev Honito dwelt on the same theme topic.
Rev Honito while exhorting the gathering, cited an example of one pastor/minister who repeatedly preached the same sermon topic.
He quoted the Gospel of St Luke and other Corinthian books etc while reminding that, “the sacrifices and blood shed by Jesus Christ for our sins are known by each one of us”.
He went on saying that, “we should be the agents and ambassador of propagating the Holy gospel”, while highlighting the techniques of some tradesman and businessman.
“For God so loved the World that, He sent His only begotten Son and whomsoever believe in Him shall have an everlasting life”, quoted Rev Honito.
“Nothing is more worthy than to embrace the Holy Spirit and unceasing faith which will lead to everlasting life after eternity”, which he said was the greatest possession other than earthly wealth and richness.
“Truth, sincerity, faithfulness and dedication is the foremost and most vital weapon for the true Christian to attain Salvation afterlife”, remarked Rev Honito in concluding remark pointing the exemplary lives of “Job and Moses”.
Earlier the program was chaired and recorded by Rev Ghoheto and Rev Ahozhe, respectively and began with devotion by pastor Satakha Village BC Rev Tokishe. Offertory prayer was said by pastor (retd) Rev Qhevishe. Host Asükhuto village women quartet and youths enthralled the gathering with a beautiful special number.
The evening program concluded with pastor (Retd) Rev. Yetokhu who said the benediction prayers.
