Chakhesang Baptist Church Council (CBCC) and Lightway Society, Pfütsero in collaboration with the Legislators’ Forum on AIDS (LFA Nagaland) organized advocacy program on HIV and AIDS, on August 30 at CBCC conference hall T. Chikri Pfütsero.
The resource persons were state consultant, LFA Nagaland Dr. Vinito L. Chishi, Dr. Rupfühu Rose, public health consultant, Nagaland Health Project (World Bank), Hukatoli, administrator, LFA Nagaland, Kuduvo Kezo, District Program Officer, DAPCU Phek and Rev. Dr. Vezopa Tetseo, executive secretary, CBCC.
The seminar was specifically conducted for the church workers under CBCC to create awareness about the threat of HIV and AIDs in society. The total number of 96 church leaders attended the program. In the programme, the resource persons emphasized on the need for church workers to be more pro-active in eradicating HIV and AIDS in the society.
