
NPCC president, K. Therie has expressed grief at passing away of late Neichülieü Nikki Haralu, the first Naga ambassador. In a condolence message, Therie described late Neichülieü as a great daughter of Nagaland who had excelled and brought recognition for Nagaland. Therie said that she had scaled to the top on her own merit and served humanity on many fronts with excellence. He also stated that her contributions to India in its phase when women in careers faced untold difficulties, would be remembered in history, while her contributions to the Nagas and to Nagaland, stand unparalleled. NPCC president said that her life would continue to be a source of inspiration for many generations to come. Meanwhile, all rank and file of the NPCC has conveyed deepest condolences to the bereaved family members with prayers that the Almighty God comfort and console them and that her soul rest in eternal peace.
TSUD: Tenyimi Students’ Union Dimapur has conveyed condolences at the death of the first Naga ambassador and “our” mother late Neichiilieii Nikki Haralu. TSUD stated that her achievements would always be an example to emulate and may the departed soul rest in peace.
Ex- DMC member: Ex-member Ward-5 Dimapur Municipal Council, Kuhoi Zhimo has expressed shock at the demise of late Neichiilieii Haralu. He described late Haralu as a very strong lady, joyful and God fearing. Further, Kuhoi has conveyed condolences to the family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
