One day field visit of RKVY Sericulture farmers was inspected by Yanger Ao Dy. Director of Sericulture (Nagaland) on September 26, at Pughoboto and VK area under Zunheboto. During the inspection, deputy director lauded the extension officer N. Tsenyimo Humtsoe for systematic implementation, site selection and abundant availability of Eri host plantation. Meanwhile, he interacted with the farmers and highlighted the importance of Eri host plants and quality leaves which enhance rearing performance. He also noted rearing of silkworm is a fast cash crop. Later, he encouraged the farmers to take up sericulture and work with enthusiasm as sericulture is low investment and high return.
