
Tsiipfume Union Dimapur (TUD) has expressed shock over the brutal murder of Medovilie Movi (Avilie) daughter of Mote Movi of Zhavame Village on October 8 night at Tenyiphe-1 E-Khel Dimapur.
The union in the condemnation note issued by its president Kewelhipe Lea and General Secy. Teiciesalhou Denuh stated that such inhuman and barbaric act cannot be accepted in this modern Christian society.
TUD appealed the law enforcement authority to investigate at the earliest and punish the culprits according to the law of the land.
Further, the union also conveyed its deepest condolence to the bereaved family members.
RPOD: Razeba Public Organization, Dimapur (RPOD) stated it was deeply pained and shocked over the brutal murder of one of its members, Medovilie Movi (Abilie) daughter of Mote Movi on the night of October 8 at her residence Tenyiphe-l Dimapur.
In a condemnation note,president RPOD, D. Martin Dukru and secretary, Kewelhipe Lea, stated that such ghostly act perpetrated upon a helpless woman who was living alone cannot be tolerated anymore in ‘our’ Naga society today. The organization appealed the law enforcement agency to speed up the investigation and to leave no stone unturned till the case was solved, so as to award befitting punishment to the culprit(s).
Further, the organization conveyed condolences and solace to the bereaved family member.
PNUK: Poumai Naga Union Kohima (PNUK) has strongly condemned the murder of Medovilie Movi (Abilie) daughter of Mote Movi on the night of October 8 at her residence Tenyiphe-l Dimapur.
The union said such inhuman act of killing the woman like an animal with sharp weapon was totally unacceptable in the society. PNUK urged the concern authority to investigate the matter at the earliest and deliver justice against the culprit(s).
