YVC appeals to resume road construction

The Yingphire Village Council (YVC) has stated that the PMGSY  Phase-II of the work L-022 to Yingphire village has been lying unattended for the past two years. 
In a join press release, chairman of Yingphire Village Council, Lichose and 2nd GB Yingphire village T. Lisetong Sangtam stated that work was started on May 5, 2012, however even the first phase of soiling was incomplete.  
It stated that, the work done was only 20 to 25 percent but alleged that 60 percent of the bill was withdrawn as per the reliable source they received. Therefore, the council has reminded M/S Engineering Station Enterprise to resume the incomplete works before November 10, 2016, failing to comply the aforesaid, stern action would be initiated against the contractor or to the firm.
Further, the YVC has appealed the concern department not to release the remaining 40 percent of the bill till the work was completed and until the council issues “No Objection Certificate” to the firm after thorough inspection of the workmanship.
