LSU 56th general session held

Leshemi Students Union (LSU) held its 56th general session on December 21 at Leshemi village under the theme, “Students are Society’s Assets” with president, Chakhesang Youth Front (CYF), Welete Kapfo (Atuo Kapfo) as the chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Welete Kapfo lauded the village for its honesty and truthfulness. He stressed on the importance of biodiversity and the issue of illegal immigrants. He also reminded the local landlords to be more vigilant while renting out to tenants. 
Kapfo encouraged the students’ community to focus on the 3Ds (D- Discipline, D- Determination, D – Dedication) to be successful individual in society. 
Kapfo stressed on how students’ community could build up the society in future. He also encouraged village leaders to focus on the student’s community as to have a healthy environment in future. 
Earlier, president, Chakhesang Students Union (CSU), Dode Nakro greeted the session. 
The programme was chaired by Wete-ü Losou, God’s blessing was invoked by pastor Leshemi Baptist church, Zhietshute Lasushe. 
Presidential address was delivered by Neipetso Lomi, while Medikhrü Memorial Award was given away by Dr.Vikeyie Losu, eldest son of Late Medikhrü to Miwe-ü Losou of class 10 and Pete Lasushe of class 12 of Leshemi village. 
Special appearances was presented by Koneite-ü Losou, Wetsote-ü Metro & Neiku-ü Letro,  Khrolo Lasushe on the occasion. Vote of thanks was proposed by Medongu Losou. The session was attended by village leaders, elders, students and village community from all walks of life. LSU also elected its new office bearers for 2017-2018 led by Wezhode Sara as president, Khrolo Lasushe as vice president, Kutsho Losou as general secretary along with eight more executives.
