St Francis Xavier’s Catholic Church (SFXCC) observed Christmas on December 25 with parish priest of Kidima, Rev. Father Thomas Muttathil in the Church premises. Rev. Father Thomas Muttathil, in the introductory note said Jesus was Master of All, Owner of All and Prince of Peace. He said devil wanted to destroy instead of peace in the society and encouraged the faithful to receive God through courage, truth and peace. Sister Medosenü Jacinta Thakro, Franciscan Sisters of Saint Mary of the Angels (FSMA) gave her farewell after serving two and half year in the Kidima parish. During the service, 13 infants were baptised.
