One-day Financial Literacy Camp (FLC) supported under FIF and managed by NABARD was conducted on January 6, at Chakpa village, organized by Care and Support Society (C&SS), Mokokchung in collaboration with Bank of Baroda, Mokokchung and sponsored by NABARD.
NABARD, DDM, S. Amarjit Mangang briefly highlighted Farmers Club, SHG/JLG, WCC & KCC programme, PMMY and Stand-Up India Scheme. He further shared about digital transaction.
Bank of Baroda, Mokokchung, manager Nahphoa, shared the importance of banking, savings, financial planning.
He shared various financial services offered by the banks for the general public. He further highlighted about PMJDY, PMSBY, PMJJBY and APY in details.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by C&SS managing director Imchawati Kichu, welcome address was delivered by Chakpa Village Council (CVC) council secretary Moluba.
