CM condoles demise of Imchen’s mother

Nagaland chief minister Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu has condoled the passing away of Tsüpongchila, mother of Imkong L Imchen minister of Forest, Environment & Climate Change, on May 3 evening. 

In a condolence message, chief minister Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu said that the children of late Tsüpongchila occupied high positions in government service and the important role played by them in the polity of the state and society, spoke volumes about how she had raised her children. 

“A pioneer in Christianity in her own rights, she had been devoutly religious like most of her contemporaries of whom there are only a handful today, and her passing away shall be felt deeply by those few of her peer alive today”, Shürhozelie said.   

Further, the chief minister on behalf of the State government, conveyed condolences to Imkong  L. Imchen and family members, and prayed that almighty grant solace and comfort at this hour of grief and for eternal solace of the departed soul.
