Lotha organisations condemn arrest of 5 youths

Various Lotha organisations have condemned the unlawful arrest of five Lotha youths from Rilan village jurisdiction on May 27 by joint group of Assam personnel and Assam Forest personnel.
RVC: Rilan village council (RVC) in a condemnation note by chairman M. Nribemo Ovung has out-rightly condemned the action of Assam police and Forest personnel who without any fault or illegal activities on the part of the youths arrested them. 
The council has appealed to both the Nagaland and Assam governments for unconditional and safe release of the youths.
LYOD: Lotha Youth Organisation Dimapur (LYOD) in a condemnation note by president Mhonchumo Ovung condemned the unjustifiable act. 
Lotha Youth Organisation Dimapur has strongly appealed to both the state authorities to take immediate steps for safe and unconditional release of the youths.
DLSU: Dimapur Lotha Students Union (DLSU) in a condemnation note by president B. Mhajan Tsopoe stated that the youths were apprehended from their own valid documented land which falls under the boundary of Nagaland.
Further the union has appealed to both the state authorities to seriously look into the matter and safely release the youths at the earliest.
