Training-cum-demonstration organized by Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Bhandari block and sponsored by ATMA Wokha was held on June 13, at the arecanut plantation of the village chairman, Nyamo Odyuo, Merapani village.
All packages of practices of areca nut plantation were thoroughly imparted to the participants. Demonstration on use of bordeaux mixture and mechanical control of pests and diseases were shown practically in the field.
Altogether 14 farmers attained the programme. Resource person of the training was SDO (Sc) cum BTT convener ATMA Bhandari block Chumbeni Odyuo.
